How to tell if you must explain it
There are things you're skilled at. There are things you're better at explaining than others.
These are not always the same.
After all, what does Michael Jordan really know about underwear?
Summon the last fifteen years to mind. Which year is most memorable? Which is least?
What did your average day look like, from your most memorable year?
How did you carve out time, in that average day?
From that time, which activity involved figuring out a problem quickly enough that you couldn't observe the problem for months on end?
Did you have to make a decision that felt like jumping into an unfamiliar body of water for the first time?
If yes, then who else engages in that activity?
How many people do you think there are, in the world, who do it?
Where do you rank, out of 8 billion?
