The Geography of Lunch Breaks
Microgeographies Matter
I once lived in a walkable town.
Which made lunch a wonderful affair. A stroll under trees, catching up with people that I never had to plan to meet. Some of the local cafes and microbreweries functioned like agoras.
Natural gathering places, where people could exchange with little effort.
So much agglomeration comes from proximity.
