What Needs Conserved

An innovative culture needs to try new things continuously. However, there’s an area that would benefit from less change. Something to keep rigid. That’s communication. Over a long timeframe, it’s easy to miscommunicate by changing what we mean by our messages.

Taking care to be rigid with our language (or whatever comes after language) will help people coordinate over millennia.

This doesn’t mean no changes to language- just that changes are placed on top and adjacent to existing structures, rather than replacing older structures.
