At what age did you become an adult?

In the loose plan to raise my children, I consider 15 to be the age of majority.

That is, by that age, I'll be more an involved investor and advisor rather than caregiving for a dependent.

The Hutterites have a similar cutoff, not too different from Europeans before World War II.

They are no longer at the children's table. They are given jobs.

Responsibility marks adulthood.
